I like to think of my self as a charitable type, I hate to see poor abused basses disused and rotting in the back of a cupboard or crusty corner of a garage or something!
So I buy poor disheveled looking beasts and give them a new lease of life, a new home, and hopefully find them new owners too! I spend at least a full day on each bass, getting it working again and in playable order. In some respects I could say I run a shelter for abused basses! Anyway, most of these below already found homes, but all of them came to me dysfunctional and battered and left playing and sounding great...and in some cases looking pretty damn cool too :)
