American guitar master, David Becker, who has worked with many of the finest (Chick Corea, Pat Metheney, John Abercrombie to name a few), will be in Japan for a slew of live gigs in Honshu and Kyuushu. David's playing is recognized for it's sophistication, advanced harmony, tasteful phrasing, and innovative and masterful technique. Encompassing Blues, Jazz, Latin, Rock and Fusion, this is an exciting show, not to be missed!

Looking forward to taking part in this year's online Gakki fair with Marceau Guitars and their distributer named "Luthiers".
I will be reviewing and demoing a Marceau bass guitar and talking shop on a live stream. There will be numerous other fantastic demonstrators as well including Preston Murdock, Makitsu Tsubasa and owner David Rambeau. Do join!

大津市出身。滋賀県立膳所高等学校、1985年駒澤大学経済学部経済学科卒業。A型。
大学在学中に久保田利伸とファンク・バンド「ホッテントット」を結成しギターを担当。
自ら結成したバンド「MOTHER EARTH」で、久保田やAMAZONSなどのライブにも参加。作曲だけでなくプロデューサーとしても活動。
代表曲は久保田利伸と共作した「You were mine」「Olympicは火の車」「Shake it Paradise」[2]、田原俊彦に提供した「ジャングルJungle」「シルエットには踊れない」、「L.L BROTHERSのテーマ」などがある[3]。

Will be playing some slaying ...erm... sleighing tunes, in a funky-jazzy manner with the man Jeremy *Cool* Kuhles on Keys and vocals, and my self on the jingle bells and galloping bass! 
Come join us at Yokohama station during this two day event. We play on Saturday the 21st as you can see...and there will be plenty to see, hear and do...for FREE of course :) So why not swing by and bring us some Christmas cheer, or maybe even some Christmas beer! (We will love you for ever and ever if you bring beer)

Come join us in creating and building on some grooves.
Any level, any instrument welcome! Bring your own or use house bass, guitar , drums or keys. Danny Stewart of bassjapandirect.com will be introducing and allowing attendees to try out an amazing UK built Enfield Avenger bass guitar, complete with patent Sims Super Quad pickups, definitely something not to be missed for you pro bassists / budding bassists and enthusiasts out there!

Pop-Jazz-Rock-Metal-Funk-World Amalgam featuring Six string Bass-Aerobics from Danny M Stewart. Lots of audience participation too, a lot of fun to be there! Fun for all, musically sophisticated and quirky but melodically accessible and widely appealing. InnoBassIon strikes a balance that appeals to musicians / bassists and also those of you who just enjoy listening / dancing and joining in!

You can expect to hear a lot of originals, some arrangements of popular songs and also some completely improvised pieces that YOU can help to bring to life :)

Ontaku 音タク　stands for Sound/music (Ongaku's　音楽 On 音　meaning sound or music) and Taku タクcomes from Otaku　オタク meaning geek or nerd! So this roughly translates as music nerd / sound geek or perhaps mu-tard or noise-nerd ! Hahaha!

Ontaku is a marriage of Classical, Jazz, Rock and Fusion and brings you original arrangements of classical music and jazz standards in very unusual formats and features one of the world's leading Chopin recitalists, Polish born Michal Sobkowiak, and a ubiquitous force on the session circuit in Tokyo, guitarist Nobumasa Tsurata. We guarantee it will entertain!
