Returnable within 10 days of delivery. Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described or was damaged in transit. Returns on custom orders If a customer wishes to return a custom order item due to personal preference, the deposit is non refundable as detailed on the custom order deposit form. If it is a return due to a fault or item is not as agreed, then we will reassess the refund process / or negotiate a possible solution that is satisfactory to both customer and us. FLEXIBLE PAYMENT PLANS: Are only on offer direct, please email us at dstewart@bassjapandirect.com to find out more. We can only offer buy now sales on Reverb or Shopify at present due to limitations on their platforms. Thank you for your understanding. SHIPPING ON OFFERS. We offer global shipping using EMS Japan Post, on accepted offers the shipping will be standard two week shipping by default. REPAIRS / DAMAGE CLAIMS If repairs are required we will cover them once the problem has been diagnosed and evidence is provided to verify / authenticate a claim for repair or damage. We will then reimburse repair costs. To verify claims we require photographic/video proof of both instrument and packaging. Please contact us with such proof immediately if you receive a damaged item. EXCHANGE OR REFUND We also offer exchange instead of refund. In this case we will pay the shipping back to you on the exchange instrument once the returned instrument has been received and inspected. BEST OFFER / SHIPMENTS: If you buy on a best offer we will use 2 week standard shipping by default. Please understand, if you want to save money on a purchase this maybe a necessary step. If in doubt please ask. VINTAGE INSTRUMENTS: Flight / Climate change can affect the set up of any guitar so to that end we cannot guarantee that an instrument will arrive with the set up described. You may need to allow a bit of time for an instrument to acclimatize and you may need to make adjustments to get it set up optimally at your end. We do not pay for truss adjustment / bridge adjustment or set up fees. If the instrument is not setting up because of a technical fault see our return / repair policy above. Make sure to check the return policy on each individual listing as some items may be sold "As-Described" and not eligible for a return. CUSTOMER PRIVACY: We will never divulge, sell or disperse customer information such as address or telephone / credit card details / email addresses to any third party. Please understand though, that because we use third party payment processing services such as Paypal and Square, your information will also be viewed by them as well as the shipping company we use and we cannot be held liable for personal data processed through their platforms. If in doubt, please look at their privacy policies too by visiting their websites, but generally they too agree not to sell or divulge customer information. |
